Our history

Our production process maintains the essence of the wafer

Master craftsman Miquel

“We bought a small wafer factory where we used to go to on vacation”

A business adventure that began with the romantic dream of a couple, Miquel Romey and Enriqueta Ferreres. From savoring the delicious artisan wafers in Ribera d’Urgellet, Pla de Sant Tirs, where they went on vacation, to acquiring the small factory in the village where they were made. This is how the artisanal Sant Tirs wafers were born.

The solidarity and delicious adventure of the Wafers of El Pot Petit, a success over three editions

After three editions, we are proud to announce that the El Pot Petit wafers solidarity project has been a success: thanks to everyone who has bought this solidarity sweet, we have managed to raise more than 15,000 euros, which we have allocated to AFANOC, the Association of Relatives and Friends of Oncological Children of Catalonia, which provides comprehensive psychosocial care to children and adolescents with cancer and their families.

The wafers of El Pot Petit has been a project of El Pot Petit, Barquillos Artesanos Sant Tirs and E2S Creativa.

This action is promoted and subsidized by the Public Employment Service of Catalonia and 100% financed by the European Social Fund as part of the European Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
